Welcome to the Birnam Wood community, WWU’s only apartment living for non-first-year students.
Birnam Wood is located half a mile from the campus core, on the bus line and close to shopping, restaurants and I-5. The BW staff of Community Advisers provides support that does not come with other off-campus apartments; they plan a variety of community programming as well as special events. Residents may join an active Community Council and participate in activities such as movie nights, potlucks and more.

The provided bed components are designed to support only the 'Detail 1' layout or its alternate, with one lofted bed per room. No other configurations are allowed unless there is a disability accommodation.
If the beds are not set up according to the standard layout, the Resident Director will be notified.
