SUMMER HOUSING
Summer 2026
The logistics for Summer Housing 2026 are being determined. Please check back in late-March.
Typical Length of Stay
- 6 Weeks: Six-week summer session
- 9 Weeks: Nine-week summer session
- All Summer: Available for confirmed 2026-2027 residents; will require mandatory move to fall assignment prior to fall quarter start
Summer Intersession: Students who wish to stay on campus during the week between the end of spring quarter and the start of summer quarter must indicate this on their summer housing application.
Steps to Apply for Summer Housing

1. Apply for Summer Housing
Apply in the MyHousing portal. Be ready to choose your building and room type. If you need intersession housing, select that as well. Take a roommate survey and accept the Summer Housing Agreement. Applicants will be prompted to pay the $250 housing prepayment to secure your spot.

Due by June 1
2. Pay Housing Prepayment
When notice of prepayment due posts in MyHousing, follow the payment instructions to carefully ensure proper processing of your housing prepayment. The $250 secures your spot in summer housing and will be applied to your summer charges.

Room assignments are posted in MyHousing, along with roommate and suitemate information. You are encouraged to contact your roommate to get acquainted and plan what to bring.
Living Options

The location for Summer 2026 Housing is still being determined.
Maximum Stay
9 week session, ends Friday, August 21 (unless you are eligible for all-summer option).
All Summer
Summer residents who have confirmed 2026-2027 academic year housing are eligible to remain in housing until the start of fall quarter. This contract option is available on the housing application.
Room Occupancy
Double rooms are available for Summer Housing. Some single occupancy rooms may be available, please contact Housing for more information.
Mandatory Moves
If you are a current resident with summer housing, you will be required to move from your spring assignment to your summer assignment on a specific date (date TBD).
If you are an all-summer resident who will be living on campus Fall 2026, you will be required to move from your summer assignment to your fall assignment on a specific date (date TBD).
You will receive an email with instructions prior to your mandatory move date.
Plan ahead for mandatory moves. If you leave campus and are not available during your required move date, your belongings will be boxed and stored, and your room will be rekeyed - all at your expense.
Summer Rates
Summer 2026 rates will be posted here prior to the opening of the summer housing application (April 1).
