Community councils serve as the voice of the residential community to campus partners, groups and organizations
There are a number of opportunities to grow or gain leadership skills as a university resident. From hall committees and councils, to event planning and community service, residents gain valuable experience while building connections within their halls and the campus community.
Hall, Tenant, and Community Councils
Councils allow residents to help shape their living environment and build community within their residences. Council members participate in democratic decision-making and plan a wide variety of events to help residents of their dorm or apartment communities build connections and get to know their neighbors. To get involved with your residence council, participate in the kick-off event in the first week of fall quarter.
