Welcome to Guest Housing!

University Residences offers guest housing to individuals visiting Western Washington University. Summer guest housing options are open for individuals attending an on-campus event or visiting the greater Bellingham area. Summer guest housing is available from mid-June to mid-August annually.

During the academic year (mid-September through mid-June), Guest Housing is currently unavailable to provide additional space for current on-campus residents.

Our three options are:

  1. Traditional: a room to yourself with a community bathroom on the same floor
  2. Semi-suite: a suite (set of connected rooms) with an attached, private bathroom
  3. Full-suite: a furnished apartment with a living room, kitchen/kitchenette, and attached bathroom

Please note that available buildings & room options change every summer. For more information on availability for the current guest housing season, email us.

Group Events

Planning a group event on campus? Western offers group housing during the summer for conferences and events held on campus. To discuss accommodation options for a group, please contact WWU Conference Services

Rates & Billing

Parking

Parking is done separately from Guest Housing operations. Transportation Services (transportation@wwu.edu) has different options for group parking, and they vary based on where guests want to park, summer vs. school year, and the size of the group.
