Food Security Week

From May 6 – 12, University Residences and campus partners are hosting the first annual WWU Food Security Week.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend events scheduled throughout the week. By joining the conversation, we hope to educate the community about challenges many of our students experience with securing food.

The week serves as the launch of Swipe Out Hunger – a program designed to assist students facing food insecurity. Swipe Out Hunger allows students to “swipe” into the dining commons free of charge through donations by current meal plan holders.
