Hello! My name is Alex, I use she/her pronouns, and I’m the Resident Director of the Edens-Higginson Community. I’m originally from University Place, WA and I graduated from the University of Portland in 2019 with a BBA in Marketing and a minor in Fine Arts. As an undergrad, I was an RA for my final two years. Through this paraprofessional experience and my professional experience as a Graduate Residence Director in 2020-2021, an Assistant Resident Director in 2021-2022, I grew a strong appreciation for student affairs, leading me to pursue a MS in Higher Education, which I completed in December of 2021. In my free time I love experimenting with different art mediums, thrifting, perfecting my mom’s kimchi recipe and spending time near the coast with family and friends. I look forward to seeing you all on campus!
