About
Hi! My name is Jordan (they/them) and I am a first year student in the audiology doctoral (AuD) program, having received my bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders in Spring 2025 at WWU (with a minor in psychology). I'm originally from southern California, but moved to Bellingham for college (and I definitely prefer the weather here.) Outside of the classroom, I enjoy astronomy, writing, puzzles, and baking (I stress bake a lot, so be prepared.) I also enjoy acting and have been in a handful of productions in Bellingham community theater. I genuinely love academia, and want to make sure everyone feels like they have a safe environment to live and explore their interests. In general I tend to be more on the quiet side (both by default and because I can get socially drained easily), but can also be pretty enthusiastic depending on the situation. This is my first year as an R.A. and I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity!
