About

Before starting my position at Western Washington University in 2019, I spent time living in North Dakota, Mississippi, Oregon, and Georgia. During my moves, I’ve been welcomed by many wonderful people and it is a joy to pay-it-forward and welcome you into the S.O.D.A. communities! I attended college in Oregon where I received a Bachelor of Arts in organizational communication and fell in love with the PNW. After college, I moved to the University of Georgia, where I taught communication courses, conducted research about how college students manage conflict and the impact on their mental health, and completed my Master’s degree in interpersonal and health communication. During my free time I love to read, drink good coffee, and explore the outdoors with my dog. That said, one of the adventures I’m most excited about is being a part of your experience in our residence halls! I love getting to know students, so please always feel free reach out with any questions or concerns!
