The Ridgeway is set up on a hill overlooking central campus. This puts it only a few minutes from most classrooms. The residents of the Ridge are very close to the Ridgeway Commons dining hall and just a few minutes walk from the Wade King Rec Center.

Delta sits in between its sister buildings Sigma and Omega, and is a part of the larger SHADO community consisting of Sigma, Highland, Alpha, Delta, and Omega. The Hall houses both men and women in single, double and triple rooms in a traditional, interior corridor setting. There is a community bathroom that serves the students of the same gender living on each floor.

Each building in SHADO has one comfortable lounge with a large screen TV and smaller lounge spaces for studying or gathering in small groups. There are foosball tables, pool tables and Ping-Pong tables scattered throughout the community, as well as small kitchenettes equipped with sinks, a stove, an oven and a microwave. Delta features a main lounge with a fireplace, kitchenette, television, foosball table and piano, and also features several smaller lounges with kitchenettes throughout the building.

A location atop the hill between north and south campus means that classes, the rec-center, the library, and just about everything else is a short walk downhill from the Ridge. SHADO offers its residents a smaller more personal community within each building, but also a sense of a larger community shared between its five buildings, where residents can get involved in multiple activities and find other residents with common interests.

Activities

Within each building, SHADO residents enjoy a close-knit community feeling as well as the opportunity to interact regularly with other halls in the area through programming, recreation, and involvement.

Residents are also able to participate in the active Community Council, which sponsors such events as trips to the local SportsPlex, a 'Festivus for the Rest of Us,' dances, and many other programs.
