Edens North Hall
Edens North is part of a set of three distinct buildings that make up one community on the north end of campus called Edens-Higginson. The hall houses men and women on separate floors in single, double, and triple occupancy rooms. A community bathroom on each floor serves students of the same gender.
Connected to Edens Hall via a sky bridge, Edens North shares its large main lounge with adjacent kitchen between the two buildings. The lounge includes a grand piano, pool table, and a fireplace, and provides residents with a great space to study, relax, or gather for events. A TV room, outdoor courtyard, indoor bike storage and laundry facilities are also shared between buildings, as well as the front desk and mailboxes located on the ground level of Edens Hall.
One of the great things about Edens-Higginson is the variety of features that the community has to offer. In Edens Hall you will find suite style rooms with many of the honors students living together, over in Edens North you'll find the kitchen, great lounge for events or studying. Higginson has some of the best lounges on campus and great balcony views of Bellingham, especially at night!
The Edens-Higginson community sponsors two large events each year. The first is the Edens Morgue, an event in the Fall where Edens Hall is converted into haunted house for the university community to visit. The second is the Higginson Festival of Music (or HIG FoM), which occurs in the Spring. Student and other local musicians are showcased in this event.
