About

My name is Jayden Terry, and I’m from the Renton/Kent area in Washington. I study business marketing and minor in African American Ethnic Studies. I want to create something in the future that combines creativity, culture, and business. Outside of school, I like to stay active and inspired. I play a lot of basketball because it clears my mind and keeps me competitive. I love music, it’s a big part of my life and keeps me grounded. I’m also into creative activities. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes. I like photography because I like capturing moments and different views. Fashion is another interest I like putting outfits together and expressing myself through style. In my free time, I watch movies and shows, especially Marvel and DC Comics, and I also watch anime. I enjoy the creativity and storytelling in them. I’m also involved on campus through the BSU and ACC clubs, where I connect with others, build community, and take part in events that celebrate culture and diversity. Being part of these groups has helped me grow socially and culturally, and it gives me a space to express myself while learning from others’ experiences. I’m someone who likes to keep growing and learning new things, especially when it comes to creative expression and understanding different perspectives. My interest in African American Ethnic Studies has helped me better understand history, culture, and the impact of representation, which I hope to reflect in whatever I create in the future. I also enjoy working with others and sharing ideas, because collaboration often leads to better and more creative results. Whether it’s through sports, music, or creative projects, I like pushing myself to improve and stay motivated. In the future, I hope to build something meaningful that connects with people and leaves a lasting impact.
