Forget a Network

If you have previously connected to WWU's wireless networks and are experiencing connectivity issues, try forgetting the network. Select from the dropdown menu below for more information depending on your device. 

  1. Click on the Wireless Networking symbol in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
  2. Right-click the "WWUwireless-Secure" network and click on "Forget"
  3. Reconnect to the "WWUwireless-Secure" network using our get online instructions.
  1. Open System Settings.
  2. Click Wi-Fi in the sidebar.
  3. Scroll down and click "Advanced" to see your Mac's known networks.
  4. Click the more button (three dots in a circle)
  5. Choose "Remove from List" and click "Remove" to confirm.
  6. Reconnect to the "WWUwireless-Secure" network using our get online instructions.
  1. Sign in to the Chromebook with the account designated as the owner.
  2. Click your account photo.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. In the “Network” section, click Wi-Fi.
  5. Click Known networks.
  6. Find the network you want to forget, then click Forget.
  7. Reconnect to the "WWUwireless-Secure" network using our get online instructions.
  1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
  2. Tap Edit in the corner of the screen to see the networks known to your device.
  3. Take either of these actions:
    • Tap the delete button > tap Delete.
    • Or tap the info button next to the network > tap Forget This Network > tap Forget to confirm.
  4. Reconnect to the "WWUwireless-Secure" network using our get online instructions.
  1. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > WiFi.
  2. Go to Saved Networks.
  3. Select the network you would like to forget and click delete or forget network.
  4. Reconnect to the "WWUwireless-Secure" network using our get online instructions.
