Forget a Network
If you have previously connected to the WWUResTek-secure network and have recently changed your Universal ID password or are otherwise experiencing connectivity issues please try the following:
Windows 10/11
- Click on the Wireless Networking symbol in the lower-right corner of your screen.
- Select Network settings at the bottom.
- Scroll down and select “Manage Wifi Settings”.
- Under Manage Known Networks, select WWUResTek-secure and click/tap on Forget
- Reconnect to the WWUResTek-secure network using the instructions here, entering your new Universal Login password.
Mac
- Open System Preferences
- Click on Network
- Click on AirPort or WiFi (on the left)
- Click Advanced…
- Click the tab Airport or WiFi.
- Select the network you wish to remove and and press the “-” button.
- login with your universal ID and Password.
- Reconnect to the WWUResTek-secure network using the instructions here, entering your new Universal Login password.
Chromebook
- Sign in to the Chromebook with the account designated as the owner.
- Click your account photo.
- Click Settings
.
- In the “Network” section, click Wi-Fi.
- Click Known networks.
- Find the network you want to forget, then click More
Forget.
- Reconnect to the WWUResTek-secure network using the instructions here, entering your new Universal Login password.
iPhone/iPad/iOS
- Go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
- Tap Edit in the corner of the screen to see the networks known to your device.
- Take either of these actions:
- Tap the delete button
, then tap Delete.
- Or tap the info button
next to the network, tap Forget This Network, then tap Forget to confirm.
- Tap the delete button
Android
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > WiFi.
- Go to Saved Networks.
- Select the network you would like to forget and click delete or forget network.
