About
Hi there! My name is Ali and I’m a Third year student at Western. I am majoring in Environmental Studies, with minors in Spanish, Geology, and Philosophy, and I’m part of the Honors College as well. I’m originally from a small town in Wisconsin but moved to Washington in high school, and absolutely love the PNW. Over the last year, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to study abroad and travel in Latin America, living in Uruguay and Chile, learning Spanish and enjoying life in the Southern Hemisphere. Outside of school, I absolutely love to spend time outside, hiking, backpacking, climbing, or skiing, depending on the season. In summer, I have an awesome job as a camp counselor and enjoy spending my weekends camping with my family. When I’m home, you can often find me browsing google maps and flights planning my next trip, or cozied up with a great book, movie, or my newest crochet project. I’m super excited to be joining the amazing RA team this year, and am committed to maintaining and creating a fun, inclusive, and safe campus environment. I’m a huge fan of Bellingham. I look forward to another great year in the area!
