About
My Name is Narelle Chartier (She/They) and I am the Apartment Community Director for Birnam Wood. I have been in student housing for 10+ years, first managing sororities and most recently overseeing the living experience at Green River College. I’m originally from Vermont, where I did my undergraduate work and worked at my first sorority.
I really enjoyed working with the students and decided to pursue my Masters in Higher Education at UW. I had the privilege to visit WWU for a Community College Conference and fell in love with both the school and the area. I’m beyond thrilled to be able to call Bellingham and Western Home.
Outside of work I am a voracious reader, with a passion for fantasy and science fiction. I am also a bit of a gamer, enjoying both board and video games. I love getting out on the water and am looking forward to enjoying the local waterways. I am also a proud cat mom of Sir Roland Archabold Whisperpaws and His Eminence Sebastian James Silverpaws.
