Hey ya’ll!! My name is Jasmin and I’ll be your Beta Gamma RA for stack 3 Beta! I am a second year at WWU and I'm majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish and Education Social Justice (ESJ). My hometown is Renton, WA and my roots are from México. I identify as a Mexican-American and I'm fluent in both English and Spanish, así que si prefieres hablar en español ¡aquí estoy! I've tried to stay connected to my identity and culture through a couple clubs on campus such as Danza Eterna, Educators of Color, First Year First Generation Club, and a club I brought back to Western after 5 years of hibernation which is MEChA (Movimiento Estudiantil De Aztlán). Some of my hobbies include reading, anything arts and crafts, playing instruments, and thrifting! I absolutely love coffee, boba, music, the fall season, movies, but most of all spending time with my friends and family. I'm a pretty social person and I love meeting new people, so if you ever see me around campus feel free to say hi!! I can’t wait to see you all grow this school year :)
