Hi! My name is Jacob Curtis and I am a senior at WWU. I am double majoring in accounting and management information systems (MIS) and have accepted an offer to work at Ernst & Young as full time audit staff in August 2019. WWU has been my academic home since 2014 where I have worked in Residence Life as an RA, ARD, and Senior RA for 4 of those years. In addition to class and work, I stay active with intramurals, hiking in the Bellingham area, and attending concerts in Bellingham, Seattle, and Vancouver B.C.
Hi! My name is Emily! I from Olympia, WA which is about 3 hours south of here so not too far. I am a sophomore heading into the Elementary and Special Education program. I am very excited to soon start classes through Woodring, the College of Education. Also, I am getting my minor in Leadership Studies. Last year I worked at Western's Financial Aid Office, so I would be more then happy to help answer any of your questions. In my free time I love to pet dogs, watch sunsets and have game nights with my friends. I am also obsessed with watching Grey's Anatomy, The Bachelor, This is Us and Riverdale.
Hello! My name is Hunter Stuehm and I’m a senior at WWU, studying Communication Sciences and Disorders. This year will be my second year as an RA and I’m so excited to help you find your place in Fairhaven! On an average day, you can find me drinking coffee, admiring the color orange, or catching up on a new Netflix series. Feel free to stop by and catch up!
I am a sophomore majoring in psychology with the intention of becoming a child psychologist. My favorite superhero is catbug, but I also have a deep adoration for the MC Universe. I like walking down stairs, reading, painting, cooking, and watching movies. I’m excited to be involved in FASA, art club, and many more. My favorite thing about Western is the environment because we’re surrounded by calming greenery when we’re walking or fast-walking to and from class. I love food and I love a conversation. I also wish somebody told me beforehand to buy a quality rain coat because you’re going to need one.
Hi, everyone! I'm Khadijah. I'm a junior here at WWU, I'm a Sociology major, and I'm so excited to be an RA in Fairhaven. This academic year I am involved in the Black Student Union as the Budget Authority. My favorite thing about Western is the constant opportunity to meet various individuals from different walks of life. I can't wait to meet all of you - let's have a great year!
Greetings! I’m a second year student and a Biology/Anthropology major. I’m on the Pre-med track and I’m planning to minor in Chemistry and German. My hobbies include costume-making, drawing, and swimming. This previous year I was a member of the Fairhaven Hall Council and Art Club. My favorite part about Western is the wonderful community! I love making new friends so if you ever need help, a study buddy, or just someone to geek out with, feel free to knock on my door. I look forward to spending this school year with y’all! Let’s make this year the best it can be.
Hello, my name is Ocean and I am a sophomore at Western. I enjoy basically all things from working out and going on hikes to hanging out at home playing video games and watching movies. I am currently undecided on my major however, I’ve been interested in kinesiology and teaching. My favorite thing about Western is all the art and sculptures on campus.
Welcome to the Dime Stack! That's stack 10 if you already didn't know. I'm a Communication Studies major and Theater minor and this will be my fourth year at WWU. I find learning about the creative process and final production of media very broad, complex, fluid, and overall- just super interesting! Which is why I love to observe and talk about all things media with others. When I have free time, I enjoy watching movies and TV shows, playing video games, reading comics, and walking about taking pictures of our beautiful environment here in Bellingham. My favorite thing about going to school at Western is that there are courses you can take, people you can meet, and places that you can find that relate to or can even broaden your interests. I'm excited to meet everyone and look forward to learning your interests too!
Hi everyone! I am a junior and my intended major is Computer Science. I love learning about science – biology, astronomy, psychology – you name it! In my free time I enjoy video games, hiking, climbing and playing my ukulele. I am not currently in any clubs, but I am always open to trying new things. My favorite thing about Western is its campus: being surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife makes Western feel like home away from home. I am really excited to be part of the Mathes community. And I look forward to getting to know everyone.
