Buchanan Towers Renovation Project

Western Washington University is in the middle of a two-year, $24.5 million renovation of the Buchanan Towers residence hall on south campus.

Phase I of the construction project is scheduled to finish before November 22, 2018. Students may experience noise (between 9:00 a.m. and 5:15 p.m.) until the protection installation on the roof is complete. The protection installation keeps staff safe when they access the roof for repairs, cleaning, and maintenance.

Phase II will begin at the start of spring 2019. Parts of Buchanan Towers will be closed for renovation. Residents will continue to live in the renovated west wing of Buchanan Towers.

Students required to move before March 24: BT South Wing Suite numbers ending in 11 through 18.
