Lounges & Common Areas
Lounges and other common areas are living spaces intended for residents to study, relax, and gather. Use of these areas should be inclusive and yield to other residents in the space; if conflicts arise, staff can assist in facilitating a resolution.
Personal property left in lounges or common areas may result in theft. Overnight sleeping is not permitted.
New COVID-19 Policy
Updated March 9 at 12:30 p.m.
Shared lounges and common areas are arranged to adhere to social distance standards. Furniture may not be rearranged to accommodate activities.
As of March 1, some activities that require residents to sit closer than six-feet social distance guidelines are now permitted. These activities for residents of the same community include board games, cards, etc. and must adhere to maximum occupancy guidelines and face covering policies outlined in Disruptive Behavior.
Please note: Housing is working to allow residents to visit other communities once 85 percent of all residents consistently schedule their mandatory two-week COVID Test on time.
All residents must fill out the shared room log before entering a common area or lounge.
Print signs with a QR code linking to a digital form can be found in each shared space. Handwritten forms are also available.
