About
Hi, my name is Abbey and I’m so excited to be a part of the 2025-2026 Resident Staff! This is my second year here at Western, I feel so lucky to be here, it’s kind of like going to school in the forest. I feel very grateful to live on such a beautiful campus. I’m still exploring, but some of my favorite spots must be the cherry blossom trees (even when there are no cherry blossoms), the watch tower in the arboretum, and the look out by the PAC. But I love finding new spots to study. I grew up in North Seattle and am a true Pacific Northwesterner. I love camping, hiking, hammocking, picnicking, ultimate frisbee, basketball, swimming, and spending time in the sun. Especially during the Spring and Summer months. I guess vitamin D supplements will have to do for the Winter! When I find myself cooped up indoors, I enjoy a variety of hobbies, including drawing, painting, writing, listening to music, as well as creating it, and watching movies. Some of my favorite foods are tostadas, Mac and Cheese, Butter Chicken, baked potatoes, and any fruit that I can get my hands on, but especially pomegranates. As of this year, I will be studying anthropology. I love the humanities, the fine arts, connecting with others, and listening to all the stories and lessons that are out there to be shared. I especially value my relationships with my friends and family. Come say hi to me on campus, I would love to get to know you better!
