About
Hi, I'm Sophia (She/Her) and I'm so excited to get to know you this year! This will be my third year at WWU and my second year as an RA. I previously was an RA for Mathes, so I am well versed with the building. I'm ordinally from the east side of Washington state but being closer to the water is a lot of fun! I highly recommend Boulevard Park if you want to be close to the water and enjoy the bay. I am double majoring in History and English. My specialties in history are 19th century America, Medieval France and Bohemia, and Modern China and Taiwan. My emphasis in English is Film and Media studies and I love a good horror and noir film, although my guilty pleasure are romcoms. If you see me around campus with a camera, it’s most likely because I am shooting a short film for my English major! If you don’t see me around campus with a camera, then you’re probably going to find me in the library as both of my majors keep me pretty busy reading and research wise! I have grown up surrounded by all kinds of animals, but my favorite pets have to be dogs and parakeets. I have played six sports, my favorites being basketball and softball. I currently follow the NHL and MLB. My favorite teams are the SJ Sharks and the Seattle Mariners. I love to crochet, paint, and I am always looking for new hobbies to pick up.
