The Assistant Director position for Equity and Inclusion is a full time, live out position within University Residences who reports to the Associate Director of Residence Life. The Assistant Director for Equity and Inclusion provides oversight for a campus community of approximately 1,800 of the 4,100 residential students living on campus and is assigned responsibility for supervising four resident directors. This position will provide leadership to both our staff and students working towards Western’s mission of positively impacting the state and the world with a shared focus on academic excellence and inclusive achievement. We are seeking candidates who will provide leadership to our unit with the goal of incorporating our values of inclusion and equity into all policies, procedures, and operations of our residential program. We encourage applicants from women, people of color, people with disabilities, veterans, and other candidates from underrepresented backgrounds with diverse experiences interested in this opportunity.
