On Friday, Oct. 16, the president announced the University will operate Winter Quarter with approximately the same level of face-to-face instruction and campus residency levels as Fall Quarter.

We know that most residents will choose to stay home until their classes are in person and occupancy restrictions ease.

Housing has some available space winter quarter as we adhere to COVID-19 restrictions. If you would like to be considered for on-campus Housing winter quarter, you must visit MyHousing, click on the Winter Quarter Options for Fall Deferrals button and choose one of two options, by November 18.

  1. Please activate my request for winter quarter housing
  2. I do not need winter quarter housing

If you do not want to live on campus winter quarter but may want housing in the spring, you must reapply for Housing between Jan. 15 – March 1.

Please note: we will have room for all residents who want housing if classes are in-person and housing occupancy returns to normal during the 2020-21 academic year.

If you have more questions about housing in winter quarter, please attend one or both of our Virtual Housing Webinars:
