About

Hello I’m Dani Cortezzo and I’m from Seattle, Washington! I am majoring in Health and Physical Education here at Western and hopefully will be minoring in Spanish my 3rd year. I am a very outgoing and energetic person who loves to meet new people, adventure, and try new things. I love to hike, travel around the world, shop, play instruments, listen to music, and of course sports. Growing up I’ve participated in multiple sports like: wrestling, cross country, track, basketball and soccer which is the main sport I play. I’ve been playing soccer since I was 6 or 7 years old and finished my last 4 years on my high school varsity soccer team. I now continue to play as I’m a part of YERB FC which is my intramural co-ed soccer team that I hope to be a part of for the next 4 years here at Western. I love to learn new things especially in the subject of science, when it comes to Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Paleontology, and the human body. Some of my nerdy aspects are that I love Legos, card/board games, arcades, anime, collecting little figures of my favorite characters from either shows, movies, or video games. Some examples of the games I play are Minecraft, Stardew, Elden Ring, Dark Souls 3, and Grounded. Traveling is also a big part of who I am, one of my favorite places I’ve been to was Camp Nou in Spain. Where I got to stand on the field where my favorite soccer player, Lionel Messi stood. I am a mixture of multiple interests and hobbies so I usually share a lot of common interests with many people!
