The Ridgeway Complex, called simply the Ridge by most students, is set on a hill overlooking central campus, only a few minutes away from most classrooms. The residence halls are surrounded by trees, making the Ridge a very scenic place to live. The Ridge is home to Kappa, the SHADO community, and the Beta-Gamma community. Each community is close-knit and interacts between buildings regularly with programs, recreation and involvement.

The Ridgeway Commons dining hall is located in the center of the residence halls, and the Wade King Student Recreation Center is a short walk away. Highland Drive runs by the Ridgeway, giving residents easy driving access to downtown Bellingham and the Historic Fairhaven district.
