Can I receive pay-per-view channels like HBO?
All rooms come with Basic cable service, including 65 stations. Premium and pay-per-view options are available. See TV Cable Listings for information on the basic cable channels or the Comcast site for information about their additional services.
Where can I purchase the equipment I need to connect the cable TV service in my room?
A standard coaxial cable that connects the TV to the wall outlet is available at the Student Co-op Bookstore or at most hardware stores. All rooms are digital channel capable. Room and board rates provide basic cable that includes 60 channels. For digital TV/digital High-speed internet, contact Comcast at 1-800-COMCAST.
What size sheets fit the bed?
Regular twin bed sheets fit the mattress. Mattresses are approximately 38" wide by 78" long x 5.5" deep.
Can I bring my own desk/bed and have the one provided stored?
The University furniture in your room when you check in is to remain in the room. Outside storage is not available.
How big is a specific element in the room?
Most beds are 44 inches in width, 83 inches in length. Most desks are 42" wide by 24" D. More detailed information is not available.
