Pack-Outs/Snack-Outs

When your residence hall has a meeting or special event, what could be better than food to go with it? University Dining Services offers a variety of take-out options to make these activities more enjoyable. From ice cream sundaes to barbecues, we can help make your event a success.

Pack-Outs are full dinners and replace the evening dining hall meal. For lighter fare, Snack-Outs are popular. Both options include beverages, cups, napkins, utensils and supplies. Resident Advisors and Hall Councils should select their choice well in advance and place an order with their respective Housing Representative listed below.

Pack-Out / Snack-Out Allowances

Pack-Outs and Snack-Outs are available on the basis of credits. One credit equals food for 100 participants. A Residence Hall may use all their points on one event or break it down to smaller events. For example, if a Residence Hall wants to use 2 points for one event for 200 participants or they could have 2 separate events each for 100 participants. Points are for Pack-Outs and Snack-Outs. For example, Alpha gets 1 point for Pack-Outs and 1 point for Snack-Outs for the month of October. Whole points must be used, rather than fractions.

Alpha 1 Fairhaven* 6 Mathes 3
Beta 2 Gamma 2 Nash 2
BT 4 Higginson 2 Omega 1
Delta 1 Highland 2 Sigma 1
Edens 3 Kappa 2

* Due to the 50 residents per stack at Fairhaven, two stacks should work together and plan events.

  • Winter Quarter: January, February and 1/2 of March
