Dining Halls Present Halloween Theme Dinner

On Thursday night, October 29th, Western's three dining halls will present a Halloween Theme dinner. The entire campus community is welcome to visit Fairhaven Commons, Ridgeway Commons or Viking Commons for this festive event. Additionally, there will be a costume contest at Viking Commons and Ridgeway Commons. Everyone is encouraged to dress in costume and have some fun. Best dressed could win $10, $15 or $25 in Aux Points (Aux Points work just like Dining Dollars and are accepted at all dining locations). The dinner, from 5:00 to 6:45pm, features a creative, spooky menu:

Soup and Salad:

Roasted Corn and Wart Hog Bacon Chowder
Jack 'O Lantern Vegetarian Chili
Blood Salad (Jello Salad)
Frog Eye Salad
Graveyard Grubs ( Pasta Salad)

Entrees:

Frankenstein Meatloaf with Mashed Ghosts and Ghoul Gravy
Scream Cheese Pasta (Roasted Butternut Squash Cream Sauce and Bowtie Pasta)
Scare Crow Corn Cakes (Spinach Polenta with Marinara and Parmesan)
Coffin Curd and Worms (Vegan Tofu Lo Mein)
Werewolf Tails on a Stick (Corn Dogs)
Mummy Turkey Wraps (Shaved Turkey with Cranberry, Cream Cheese, and Shredded Lettuce)

Pizza:

Pesto Spider Web Pizza with White Garlic Sauce & Chili Flakes
Witches Meatball Pizza
Pepperoni Pizza
Cheese Pizza

Desserts:

Pumpkin Bars
Tombstone Pudding

Entry to the dinner is by means of a Western meal plan, Munch Money, Dining Dollars, cash or credit card. The all inclusive price is $10.75, plus sales tax on cash and credit purchases.
