University Dining Services is now hiring student workers for Fall 2009. Positions are available in resident dining halls, catering and on-campus cafés & markets. The types of jobs include caterer, cook, cook assistant, driver, barista, cashier, dining room attendant, food servers and more. As an employee of Dining Services you can gain practical, transferable skills, opportunities for advancement and future employment opportunities. Additional benefits include flexible schedules, meals when you work and a warm, friendly work environment.

Entry-level student employees will start at $8.55/hour and can expect to receive a performance review at the end of Fall quarter, and thereafter on an annual basis. It’s important to know that when you come to work for University Dining Services you will need to have a current Washington State Food and Beverage Service Worker’s Card. When you apply, we’ll provide information on how you can get one.

We are accepting applications through August 24 for Fall positions. Students who complete an application and are offered a position with Dining Services will be required to attend Student Employment Day Training on Saturday, September 19 at WWU. Those who plan to live on campus may register for early move-in at no expense in order to attend this required training.
