Dining Commons to host Fiesta Theme Dinner

On Tuesday, May 5th, Viking Commons, Ridgeway Commons and Fairhaven Commons are holding a special fiesta-themed dinner with a Mexican-inspired menu to commemorate Cinco de Mayo. Festive décor will make for an exciting dining environment. The menu is expected to include the following authentic favorites

Soup: Chicken Tortilla Soup - Vegetarian Caldo Verde

Entrées: Chicken Tostada served with Refried Beans and Spanish Rice - Steak Fajitas served with Spanish Rice, Whole Pinto Beans and Gordita Tortillas - Chile Relleno Casserole (Vegetarian) served with Spanish Rice

Pizza: Chorizo Pizza with Monterey Jack

Salsa Bar: Salsa Verde - Black Bean Corn Salsa - Fiesta Jalapeño Cabbage Salsa - Peach Mango Salsa - Pico De Gallo

Desserts: Margarita Pie - Chocolate Cheesecake with Chili Cocoa - Tres Leche Cake

Any Western Washington University students, faculty, staff or guests can attend the dinner by means of a Western meal plan, Munch Money, Dining Dollars, cash or credit card. The all inclusive price is $10.75, plus sales tax for cash and credit card payments.
