Valentine’s Day is Near!This article was archived on April 22, 2009 Let Us Help You Show the Love on Valentine's DayFebruary 6, 2009 ![]() Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and University Dining Services is celebrating in our resident dining commons, as well as offering specialty gifts in our retail cafes and markets. You can surprise your sweetheart or a friend with one of these Valentines gifts which are available in cafes and markets across campus. The assortment includes a wide range of items and prices, from a single Belgian Chocolate Bar for $1.69, to a $3.99 Hazelnut Truffle gift box, to $7.49 for the Belgian Chocolate Squares gift box, to a Plush Bear with four-piece Truffles for $11.29. These and more gifts are available while supplies last at The Atrium, Miller Market, Viking Union Market, Ridgeway Market and The Haven Market. Students are reminded that they can use their Dining Dollars or Munch Money in making a purchase; all locations also accept cash or credit cards. On Thursday, February 12th, the three dining commons (Viking, Ridgeway and Fairhaven Commons) will be serving a decadent Valentines dessert buffet at dinner, from 5:00pm - 6:45pm. The special themed line-up is expected to include: • Chocolate Mousse • Chocolate Cake w/ White Frosting and Sprinkles • Layered Strawberry Shortcake • New York Cheesecake topped with Cherries • Butter-cream Brownies with Mint Icing Entry to the dinner is by means of a Western meal plan, Munch Money, Dining Dollars, cash or credit card. The all inclusive price is $8.75, plus sales tax on cash and credit purchases. |
