Warm Up w/ Homemade Chili or Soup

We all know it's cold outside and keeping warm is a constant challenge. That's why the cafes and markets on campus are featuring "Market Fresh Soups" made from scratch right here on campus. Stop by the Viking Union Market, Miller Market, The Atrium, or Rock's Edge Cafe to warm up with a bowl of soup or chili.

The Viking Union Market has the most variety. There you'll find hot and fresh chili daily, along with two soups, with at least one of them being vegetarian or vegan. With three serving sizes to choose from, 12 oz., 16oz. or in a bread bowl, the delicious chili can make a great side dish or a whole meal. A complimentary condiment bar is also offered with cheese, sour cream and onions.

The chili and soup are part of Dining Services 'homemade' Market Fresh Soup line. "It's all made from scratch in our kitchen at the VU," said Lisa Philbrook, director of business development. We accept payment in the form of Dining Dollars, Munch Money, cash or credit card. For detailed hours of operation, visit http://housing.wwu.edu/dining/retail/hours.php.
