About University Dining Services

University Dining Services (UDS) serves the Western Washington University campus with three resident dining halls, catering, concessions and ten retail cafés and markets. We employ over 100 full time and part time staff, as well as over 500 student employees. Every member of the team is a critical part of our success. University Dining Services is provided by Sodexo, Inc., the leading provider of integrated food and facilities management services in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Sodexo’s mission is to create and offer services that contribute to a more pleasant way of life for people wherever and whenever they come together.

Current Openings
We accept applications in response to current job postings. When we are seeking to hire for current job openings, there will be a posting at our main office on campus (Edens Hall, 109), as well as at our open units across campus. Management Opportunities
Hiring for management positions is handled by Sodexo USA, through an online application. Management job openings can be applied for at the careers section of sodexousa.com. Food and Beverage Worker's Card

Cafeteria Worker

In accordance with Washington State Health Department regulations and Sodexo company policy, every University Dining Services employee must have a copy of a valid Washington State Food Worker's card at their place of employment.

You can obtain or renew a card through any Washington State County Health Department. The cost for the exam is $10 (cash only). To prepare for the exam, review the Food Worker Manual (.pdf), which can be downloaded for free.
